  • It’s best to reserve your newborn session before your due date, typically in your second or third trimester. Once baby arrives, we’ll schedule the session during the first 5–21 days.

  • First and foremost — don’t stress. These sessions are designed to be relaxed, natural, and baby-led. You don’t need a spotless house. Your real, lived-in space is part of your story.

    Here are a few simple tips to help you prepare:

    Tidy, not perfect

    There’s no need to deep clean. Just clear away clutter in the areas we’ll be using (usually the nursery, main bedroom, and living room). A quick sweep of surfaces like nightstands or end tables is plenty. Think “cozy and lived-in,” not staged.

    Let the light in

    Natural light is everything! Open the curtains and blinds before I arrive so I can find the best-lit spots in your home. I’ll gently guide us to the rooms with the most flattering light — no fancy equipment needed.

    Have a few simple items on hand

    Think swaddles, a favorite blanket or two, a neutral onesie, and anything meaningful (like a handmade quilt or heirloom stuffy). No need for props — baby is the focus.

    Feed + soothe baby right before

    A well-fed, sleepy baby usually means a calm start. I’ll build in time for soothing, nursing, or changing throughout the session — we go at baby’s pace.

    What about family photos?

    Yes! In-home newborn sessions often include gentle, candid family moments — with parents, siblings, or even pets. Wear comfortable, neutral-toned clothing you can move and snuggle in. I’ll help you feel natural and at ease in front of the camera.

  • Nope! You can book milestone sessions individually, or save by choosing a bundled package like The Memories, The Journey or The Adventure to capture the whole story.

  • Not by default — but it’s available as an optional add-on!

    The Celebration is a classic one-year session focused on milestone portraits and sweet family moments. If you’d like to end the session with something fun (and a little messy!), you can add on “The Grand Finale” — a styled or simple smash setup to mark the occasion.

    And no, it doesn’t have to be cake!
    Think cupcakes, donuts, fruit, pancakes, or even a paint or confetti smash — whatever suits your little one’s personality best.

    The Grand Finale add-on includes:
