Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nope! I’m happy to travel wherever your story takes us — I’m ready to capture it. Please note that travel fees may apply.

  • I shoot on-location — whether that’s at your home, a park, or a special venue you choose. There’s no studio currently, but it’s something I might explore in the future!

  • RAW files aren’t provided because they don’t reflect my finished work. I spend time carefully editing each image so you get photos you truly love and cherish.

  • When to Book

Timing can make all the difference in creating the perfect experience. To ensure availability and the best light, season, and planning window for your session, here’s a general guide for when to reserve your date:

    Weddings

Typically booked 6–12 months in advance.
Booking early allows time to plan your timeline, engagement session, and all the meaningful details that tell your story.

    Engagement & Portrait Sessions

    Usually scheduled 1–2 months ahead.
This gives us time to select a location, coordinate outfits, and plan for ideal lighting and seasonal backdrops.

    Family & Companion Sessions

Best booked 1–3 months in advance, or 2–4 months ahead during peak seasons (spring and fall).
If you’re hoping for golden-hour portraits, seasonal blooms, or fall color, early booking helps secure your preferred date.

    Maternity & Newborn Sessions

Pregnancy Announcement: Ideally between 8–16 weeks, depending on how public you wish to be.
Maternity: Best scheduled between 28–34 weeks for single pregnancies (earlier for multiples to ensure comfort).
Newborn: Reserve your session during your second or third trimester. Once your baby arrives, contact me to schedule within 5–21 days for those sweet, sleepy moments.

    Commercial & Event Photography

Commercial Projects: Typically booked 4–8 weeks in advance to allow time for consultation and creative planning.
Events: Most are scheduled 2–4 months ahead, while larger productions or conferences are best reserved 4–6 months in advance.

    Landscape, Nature & Wildlife Sessions

Usually booked 1–2 months ahead, depending on season, travel, and location.
For private commissions or destination projects, scheduling 2–3 months in advance allows time for scouting and logistics.
