General

  • Your session should reflect who you are! I offer styling guidance to help you feel confident and coordinated with your location and vibe.

    Here are a few tips:

    • Timeless over trendy: Neutrals, soft colors, and classic silhouettes tend to photograph beautifully.

    • Skip the tech gear: Smartwatches and fitness bands can distract from your final images.

    • Coordinate without matching: Choose outfits that work together in tone and texture without being too similar.

    • Comfort is key: When you feel good in what you’re wearing, it shows in the photos.

    Need help putting something together? I’m happy to suggest outfits based on your vision.

  • All sessions are on-location. This could be your home, a favorite park, a meaningful landmark, or a location I recommend based on your style. I’ll work with you to find the perfect spot and provide location guidance along the way.

  • Your session includes up to 5 beings—this includes people and animals. If you'd like to include more, it's just $25 per additional being, up to a total of 10 beings. For groups larger than 10, we’ll plan a custom session that offers more time and flexibility to ensure everyone is beautifully captured.

    Please note that mini sessions can only accommodate 5 beings, due to time limitations.

  • My standard mini sessions (30 minutes, up to 15 images) are available year-round for individuals, couples, families, best friends, seniors, or pets. These are ideal for quick updates or special occasions.
    Seasonal or themed mini session days (like fall or holiday setups) may also be announced throughout the year—keep an eye on my newsletter or social media for those!

  • All packages include high-resolution digital downloads (perfect for printing) and web-size files for easy sharing online (i.e. social media).

    Prints, albums, and wall art are not included by default, but they’re available for purchase directly through your private online gallery. You’ll have access to a professional-quality print shop, so you can order exactly what you love—whenever you’re ready.

    If you'd like to add a print credit or custom album to your session, I’m happy to guide you through the options!

  • Family, portrait, and pet sessions are typically scheduled 1–2 months in advance, but feel free to reach out for last-minute openings—I’ll do my best to fit you in!

    How long will it take to receive our photos?
    Timelines vary slightly by session type, but here’s a general guide:

    • Mini Sessions: Up to 3 weeks

    • Full Sessions: Up to 4 weeks

    • Sneak peeks (if included): Within 3–5 days after your session

    All images are delivered via a private online gallery, with high-resolution downloads, web-size options, print release, and access to professional print products.

Companion

  • Yes! I offer Companion Sessions focused entirely on your pet—with or without their people. These are perfect for celebrating a new addition, capturing a favorite season in their life, or simply honoring their unique personality.

  • Dogs and cats are the most common, but I’m happy to photograph any companion — from bunnies to bearded dragons, horses to hamsters. If you have a unique animal, just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly!

  • Bring your companions favorite treats, toys, and any accessories or outfits you'd like included. A water bowl, poop bags, and a brush are always helpful, too. If you're bringing multiple or young animals, consider a helper to assist during the session.

  • A good walk or light play before the session can help burn off excess energy. Grooming a day or two before (not the morning of) is ideal for a polished look. If your companion wears a harness, consider bringing a collar too — they’re usually less obtrusive in photos.

  • Each session is relaxed and tailored to your companion’s needs. We take plenty of breaks, move at their pace, and let their personality lead the way. I use a calm, gentle approach and photograph from a respectful distance if needed.

  • That’s completely okay. My goal isn’t perfect poses—it’s capturing your bond in an authentic, meaningful way. I’ll work patiently and creatively to get natural expressions and moments of connection, even with high-energy animals.

  • Sessions can take place outdoors (like a favorite park or trail), at your home, or in another location your companion is familiar and comfortable with. I’ll help you choose the best spot for lighting, safety, and personality.

  • Yes. When availability allows, I offer complimentary legacy sessions for terminally ill or aging companions. These quiet, heartfelt portraits are designed to honor your bond and preserve your most meaningful moments together. While I may not always be able to accommodate last-minute requests, I’ll do my best to make space for these sessions whenever possible. Please reach out to discuss availability.
