    And no, you don't have to show up and magically know how to pose. You can be awkward. You can laugh at yourself. You can cry. You can have no idea what to do with your hands. Honestly, same. If you're craving pickles on pizza? Great. Let's get pickles on pizza and put it in the photos. If you've spent months putting together a nursery, let's photograph that too.     For those first few weeks when everything feels a little blurry, a little chaotic, and completely worth remembering. We’ll keep things calm, cozy, and baby-led, focusing on the love, connection, tiny details, and everyday moments that make this chapter yours.

    Sessions take place in your home for up to two hours, with natural light preferred. Baby, parents, and siblings are all included, along with styling guidance and natural posing support. You’ll receive a private online gallery with up to 30 edited images, high-resolution digital downloads, a print release, and access to professional print options.

    Multiples are included at no additional fee, with photos of your babies both together and individually. Processing times may be slightly longer for multiples. An increase in the number of delivered images is not guaranteed, but I’ll always do my best to include additional images when time allows.

First Year & Milestones

  • Wait, How Are They Already This Big?!

    Seriously, where did the time go? One minute they’re tiny, squishy, and giving you those gummy little smiles, and the next they’re crawling away from you at full speed, pulling up on everything they can reach, and somehow becoming a whole little person with opinions.

    The first year is full of those tiny things you think you’ll remember forever. The chubby toes. The first tooth. The curls that somehow disappear. The belly laughs. The favorite toy they refuse to put down. The weird faces. The naps you wish would last forever. And yes, probably a little bit of chaos too.

    You don’t need to wait for some big, picture-perfect milestone to have photos taken. Maybe you want to capture their gummy smile at three months, the rolls and giggles at six months, their newfound obsession with crawling at nine months, or the absolute mess they make of their first birthday cake. Or maybe you want to document all of it.

    We’ll keep things relaxed, playful, and baby-led. They can wiggle, crawl, make weird faces, get distracted, refuse to look at the camera, and generally do whatever tiny humans do. That’s the point. I’m here to photograph them, exactly as they are right now, before they change again.

    From those first little smiles to the chaos of turning one, we’ll capture all the good stuff you’ll want to look back on someday and say, “Oh my god, look how little they were.”

    When it’s time for your session, you don’t need to know what to do. I’ll give you direction when you need it, help you get comfortable, and let things happen naturally. Babies can wiggle. Toddlers can make weird faces. You can laugh at yourself. We’ll work with whatever happens.

Frequently Asked Questions

Announcement + Maternity

  • As soon as you’ve shared the news with loved ones and want professional photos to mark the moment! Many families book between 8–16 weeks, depending on how public or private the moment is.

  • Most clients schedule their maternity session between 28–34 weeks when the bump is beautifully visible but you're still comfortable moving around. If you're expecting multiples, we may schedule earlier.

  • Yes! I offer both as standalone or bundled options, depending on how you’d like to tell your story. Some families book one early session to announce and a full maternity session later in pregnancy.

  • Absolutely. These sessions are about celebrating your family’s next chapter — immediate family is welcome (well behaved pets included).

  • Honestly? Wear whatever you want.

    Want to wear a flowy dress? Do it. Want to wear leggings and a tank top? Go for it. Want to show off your bump? Great! Want to keep it covered? Also great! Fancy, casual, colorful, neutral, weird, comfortable, whatever. This is your session. There’s no magic maternity outfit you’re supposed to wear.

    And please, for the love of god, be comfortable. You’re already growing a whole human. You do not need to spend your session tugging at a dress, sucking in, or wondering if your outfit looks “right.” If you feel good in it, that’s going to come through in the photos.

    If your partner, kids, or anyone else is joining you, coordinate if you want, but you absolutely do not need to match. I’m still happy to help with styling if you want it. But it’s guidance, not a dress code.

    The only thing I’d probably leave at home is super distracting tech stuff, like smartwatches or fitness bands, unless they’re part of your everyday life and you want them there.

    And when we get to your newborn session? Same rules apply. You’re gonna want to be comfortable, and if you’re breastfeeding, you might need to be able to feed the baby. If that’s something you want included in your photos, we can absolutely make that part of the session. If it’s not your thing, that’s totally fine too. You get to decide what feels comfortable and what you want included.

Gender Reveal
+ Newborn

  • Yes! I can coordinate with a friend, doctor’s office, or envelope to help keep the surprise a secret until the perfect moment. Just let me know how you’d like the reveal to happen (smoke, confetti, cake, etc.).

  • Absolutely! I’m here to offer creative ideas and coordinate the setup to make your reveal personal and fun. For a more tailored experience, you can add custom prop coordination to help bring your vision to life with thoughtfully styled props and details.

  • It’s best to reserve your newborn session before your due date, typically in your second or third trimester. Once baby arrives, we’ll schedule the session during the first 5–21 days.

  • First things first, don’t clean your house for me. Seriously. You just had a baby. The laundry, dishes, toys, and whatever else is happening can stay exactly where they are.

    All I really need is a spot where we can get some decent light. A room with natural light is great, but if your house is dark or it’s a gloomy day, a lamp can work too. We’ll figure it out when I get there and use whatever space makes sense.

    You don’t need to have anything ready. No fancy props, perfectly styled nursery, or Pinterest-worthy setup required. If there’s a favorite blanket, stuffed animal, outfit, or something meaningful you want included, awesome. If not, baby is more than enough.

    Feed the baby, change them, and do whatever you normally do. If they need to eat, sleep, be held, or have a diaper change during the session, that’s completely fine. We’re not working against the baby’s schedule. We’re working with it.

    And yes, family is included! Parents, siblings, pets, whoever is part of your little crew can jump in for photos. Wear something comfortable that you can actually move around and snuggle in. Beyond that, don’t overthink it.

    Basically, just have your baby and yourself there. I’ll take care of the rest.

  • That’s completely normal! Sessions are baby-led, with time for feeding, cuddling, or changing as needed. There’s never a rush — I’m there to create a calm, supportive environment.

First Year
+ Milestone

  • Milestones celebrate baby’s growth — typically 3, 6, or 9 months. From tummy time to first steps, these sessions document the little in-between wonders.

  • Nope! You can book milestone sessions individually, or save by choosing a bundled package like The Memories, The Journey or The Adventure to capture the whole story.

  • Not by default — but it’s available as an optional add-on!

    The Celebration is a classic one-year session focused on milestone portraits and sweet family moments. If you’d like to end the session with something fun (and a little messy!), you can add on “The Grand Finale” — a styled or simple smash setup to mark the occasion.

    And no, it doesn’t have to be cake!
    Think cupcakes, donuts, fruit, pancakes, or even a paint or confetti smash — whatever suits your little one’s personality best.

    The Grand Finale add-on includes:

    • Optional themed or minimal setup

    • Guidance on what to bring (you provide the treat)

    • Time for post-smash splash or clean-up portraits
